Parrotlets are just as sweet and cute as Sun Conures. They are also very curious birds, making them very active. They too are flock birds and bond to people as though they belong to the family flock. They are one of the few parrots that cannot squawk. They can only chirp loud, which really isn't loud at all. BUT don't let that fool you into thinking these guys are just another parakeet. Parrotlets are a distant cousin to the Amazon parrot. They climb, chew, play, and do everthing their larger cousin, the Amazon parrot, does. We have blue and blue split parrotlets, two unrealted pairs. Their colors are beautiful and unique. These birds are very small measuring only 5 inches from head to tail. Parrotlets are also hardy birds and make great first time birds for people looking for their first companion parrot. Those of you who have birds probably know of people interested in these birds, they are the parrot for long time bird owners and beginners. They are the bird everyone wants.
